Review: Ft. Wilderness Cabins

We always love getting a new Disney experience, and on my family’s recent trip to Walt Disney World, we were able to experience a stay at the Ft. Wilderness Cabins for the first time! Ft. Wilderness offers two experiences: true camping BYO tent/RV and glamping with the Ft. Wilderness Cabins. Finding Disney Magic in Griffith Park

When doing research for a trip my fiancé and I planned to Los Angeles, I purchased a book about Griffith Park. I knew we had plans to do some hikes in the area, and I wanted to see what else the park had to offer, as I had never been to LA before. When flipping through the book, I was delighted to be reminded of the connection between Walt Disney and the park in question—the merry-go-round that inspired the entirety of Disneyland was located at the park! Upon further reading, I found out that in addition to this landmark, the park is also home to Walt Disney’s Carolwood Barn, which only happens to be open the third Sunday of every month. By fate (or maybe a little pixie dust) the day we had planned to spend time in the park just happened to be the 3rd Sunday in March. Let the magic begin!
