We always love getting a new Disney experience, and on my family’s recent trip to Walt Disney World, we were able to experience a stay at the Ft. Wilderness Cabins for the first time! Ft. Wilderness offers two experiences: true camping BYO tent/RV and glamping with the Ft. Wilderness Cabins. Now, if you know my husband and I, these air conditioned, multi-room cabins are as close to camping as we are gonna get. Excited to share more about our stay and what we loved about this resort.

California [Grill], Here We Come!

The California Grill. located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, is one of those wow dining experiences in Walt Disney World. The first time Allison and I went there, we were going because we heard the sushi was good, and when rounded the corner and saw. that. view, I think our jaws audibly hit the floor. The wine selection is incredible, and if you time your dinner right, you can even watch the fireworks over the Magic Kingdom. It’s also definitely a treat-yourself dining experience in Walt Disney World. When my husband and I were planning to be in Disney World for our anniversary, I knew exactly where I wanted us to have our anniversary dinner: the California Grill.

Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Party

When I booked the Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Pre-Party on the trip my husband and I recently took, truthfully, I booked it almost solely for the reserved viewing area. I thought it would be worth it to not have to fight for a spot in the crowd and make sure we had a nice view. I honestly did not look into the other details of this party (even with the $99 ticket price – gulp), and let me tell you I was delighted and blown away!

Review: Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort

A few weeks ago I had the chance to return to the most magical place on Earth for a quick visit for my birthday. Although the visit was short, I made it my goal to revisit as many Disney eats as I possibly could in 48 hours, including Mickey Waffles. Luckily, we were able to snag a reservation at the newly reopened Cape May restaurant at the Beach Club Resort.
