California [Grill], Here We Come!

The California Grill. located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, is one of those wow dining experiences in Walt Disney World. The first time Allison and I went there, we were going because we heard the sushi was good, and when rounded the corner and saw. that. view, I think our jaws audibly hit the floor. The wine selection is incredible, and if you time your dinner right, you can even watch the fireworks over the Magic Kingdom. It’s also definitely a treat-yourself dining experience in Walt Disney World. When my husband and I were planning to be in Disney World for our anniversary, I knew exactly where I wanted us to have our anniversary dinner: the California Grill.

Uh-Oa! Comparing Trader Sams at Disneyland and Disney World

When John agreed to spend a day in Disneyland during our recent visit to southern California, I knew this was my time to fulfill my dream of staying at the Disneyland Hotel. I know, I know, it really doesn't make a ton of financial sense given that the resort property is so small, and it's so easy to stay at another Anaheim hotel for much less. The (Monorail) Crawl is for All!

Growing up, my family and I always stayed at the Grand Floridian when we visited Walt Disney World. Because of this, I formed a deep obsession with the monorail early on in my life. Review: Brunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant

Living in the midwest, we don’t always get to take advantage of the new offerings at Walt Disney World as soon as they come out. This was why we were so excited to see new brunch dishes available at one of our favorite restaurants on property, Be Our Guest, appear days before we headed down to Florida! We were able to snag a last minute reservation for 10:15 am in order to fully take advantage of the two new offerings.
