Two best pals sharing their passion for the Parks and finding magic in the everyday
It’s no secret that Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is my nostalgic favorite resort on property, and I love getting a chance to visit whenever I have a chance. When Amy and I traveled to the World in November, we got into Orlando early enough to enjoy some resort hoping and dining. We chose to head over to the Grand Floridian to check out the (new to us) redesign of Citricos, which got a menu and theme revamp in 2021.

Realizing the proximity to Walt Disney World, he suggested to my mom that we turn what was originally going to be a work trip into a family vacation. One Birnbaum’s Disney book and a reservation at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa later, and a tradition was born.
