Wedding Whimsy: Ideas to Incorporate Disney into Your Big Day

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we knew there needed to be some touches of Disney magic. After all, people wanted to originally set us up because he listened to Disney music in his office, and that is apparently the prerequisite to be my soulmate. We incorporated a few simple and subtle elements that brought the Disney magic to our day!

My husband Taylor made this mailbox to hold our wedding cards to resemble Carl and Ellie’s. We still have it in our house!

I saw this idea to pay homage to Andy and his toys on Pinterest and loved it! Taylor and I both changed into comfy shoes for the reception, and this was the perfect way to include one of our favorite movies! Shout out to my bridesmaid Katie for writing on the shoes – we used a black and silver paint pen.

We ordered this guest book print, again inspired by Up, from Etsy. Even if our guests didn’t totally get the instructions, it still makes us smile!

Two years later, we love looking back on these memories and fun ways that we brought our love for Disney to our big day!
