Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical Watch Party

We are back after a little holiday hiatus! We certainly hope you had a merry time however you were able to celebrate this year. Our new year is already starting off with something very exciting because on January 1st, “Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical” comes to life. What is this, you ask? Check out the full story here, but the rat-sized version is that a Ratatouille super fans started creating songs for a hypothetical musical on TikTok, and now, it is a full-fledged production with some of Broadway’s biggest stars for one night streaming only!

For our night at the (virtual) theatre, we are planning a feast Remy would approve of using recipes from my new Disney Eats Cookbook. (Thankfully our loved ones paid attention to our gift guide!) Want to join in the fun? You can get your tickets here, and proceeds support the Actors Fund.

Ohana at Home + Dole Whip Mimosa Recipe

One of our very favorite dining reservations to snag is dinner at Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. In fact, I would wager it’s our most repeated reservation, and we even got it for room service when we stayed at the Polynesian. What makes Ohana so great? The atmosphere really can’t be beat – you’re treated like ohana and waited on by aunts, uncles and cousins, and if you time your dinner right, you can even catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks right at your table. The entertainment is a blast – a character meal during breakfast and a luau style show for kids with dinner. The star of the show, though, is the food. Especially for dinner where you get course after course of Polynesian-inspired dishes served ohana style. I’ve never left a meal there anything less than absolutely stuffed. So when the Disney Parks Blog posted the recipe for Ohana’s famed wings, I decided I wanted to cook up an Ohana-inspired meal for my own ohana. I found several recipes online and made a few changes to make them dairy and gluten free.

Recipe: Inspired by Woody's Lunchbox Box Tarts

Howdy howdy howdy! Like us, you might be looking for ways to bring the Disney magic home while we all stay at home. After a democratic Instagram poll, we decided I’d try to recreate gluten free Box Tarts from Woody’s Lunch Box, especially exciting for me to try since they do not offer a gluten free version currently!
