This Is The Way: Baby Yoda Cocktail Kit

Do you know what we need in 2020? 1. More Baby Yoda and 2. More cocktails. Thankfully, The Mandalorian has returned on Disney+ so we have something to look forward to on Fridays, and we’ve got a fun way to celebrate! With cocktails!

My friend group in Madison decided to use the new Group Watch feature on Disney+ to catch the return of The Child so I decided to do a surprise porch drop with a cocktail kit to make a Baby Yoda-rita! The Group Watch feature was so much fun. It syncs the stream for all users so you can watch together in real time and even send reaction emojis through the app. You can start the Group Watch in your Disney+ app and then invite friends via email or text. Once your friends log in through the app, the Group Watch will show up on your account on your smart TV or wherever you watch. Here’s a helpful article on setting up a Group Watch.

Here’s what you will need to make your cocktail kits:

Baby Yoda Glasses

  • Glass margarita glasses

  • Black glass paint

  • Burlap fabric

  • Twine or natural string

  • Foam or cotton fabric (optional)

Baby Yoda-rita (Makes 2 cocktails per 1 kit)

  • Individual bottle of Limeade, 8 oz or more

  • 2 Individual Sparkling Wines

  • 2 Mini bottles of Tequila

  • 2 Mini bottles of Triple Sec

  • 1 lime

First make your Baby Yoda glasses by painting two eyes on each margarita glass and allow the paint to dry. I found wrapping foam around the stem of the glass made the fabric lay a little nicer so I wrapped and taped a thin layer of foam around each stem before wrapping with the fabric. Trim your burlap to be about the full length of your margarita glass and wrap around your stem. Tie your string around the fabric at the top of the stem and fold your fabric down to make Baby Yoda’s jacket.

Package your cocktail goodies and recipe card in your bag or basket and attach your This Is The Way printable. Drop off at your friends’ houses and get ready to marvel how Baby Yoda has gotten even cuter in season two!
