Bibbidi Bobbidi Bachelorette: Celebrating Happily Ever After at Disney World

ACS_0856.JPG

In addition to being Disney obsessed, Allison and I have both been part-time professional bridesmaids for the past seven years. Combine our bridesmaid skills with our passion for Disney, and some real magic happens. We’ve attended and planned countless bachelorette celebrations, including a few at Disney World, and we like to think we’ve learned a thing or two. We wanted to share our lessons and tips for hosting a bachelorette party at the most magical place one earth!

After all, shouldn’t every happily ever after start at Disney World?  Let’s talk about some tips:

Bachelorette Parties at Walt Disney World

  • Consult with the bride about her must dos for the trip! Is there a special meal or snack she has to have? Is there a ride she can’t miss? Her wishes should be the starting point to build your itinerary.

  • Be up front about potential costs – we recommend pricing out your resort options and including the estimated cost of tickets, meals, etc. so party-goers can budget. Surprise expenses on a bachelorette trip are not magical so the more clear you can be with the group when planning, the better!

Here is an example of the pricing options we sent to party goers for Andrea’s bachelorette party!

Be sure to let the restaurant know you’re celebrating something special!

  • Consider sharing a family suite – we stayed in the Art of Animation Lion King family suites with our group for a bachelorette, and it was a great space for a great value.

  • Make sure everyone buys their park tickets and links accounts on My Disney Experience so that you can easily make Fast Pass+ resos when the time comes!

  • Make a few fun table service reservations – we love Ohana for a fun group dinner – if you can time your reservation right, you’ll catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks –  or brunch at Wine Bar George for maximum mimosas. You can’t miss the Frozcato Mimosa (that’s a Dole Whip + mimosa, people!).

  • For group meals, it’s great to appoint one person to pay with their card, and then have everyone pay that person as opposed to trying to get a bunch of separate checks. They made Venmo for bachelorette parties, I’m pretty sure.

  • Since you don’t have to be home by midnight, look for fun options to go out after the parks close! Disney Springs offers great night life, and we also love the Boardwalk options for drinks and dancing, like Atlantic Dance Hall – we’re about it.

  • Create a shared photo album so everyone can upload their photos from the trip – that way you can appoint one person to use their phone for group photos and then share with the group!

  • Plan a few fun goodies for the trip – Pinterest is full of cute ideas – and bride ears are almost non-negotiable. Here are some of the fun touches we added for our friend Andrea’s bachelorette party!

It’s so fun to play Fairy Godmother and help your princess pal’s dreams come true. You can see the itinerary we put together for Andrea below or check our full sample itinerary for that trip here. Have you ever been to a bachelorette party at Disney? What was your favorite part?
